Trio Teknologies Joins Brightpoint

September 12, 2006: Trio Teknologies announced today that Brightpoint, Inc. (through its subsidiary, Wireless Fulfillment Services LLC) has entered into a stock purchase agreement to acquire all of the outstanding shares of Trio Industries, Inc. (d/b/a Trio Teknologies).

The closing of the acquisition under the stock purchase agreement is subject to the satisfaction or completion of certain conditions, including without limitation, completion of financial and legal due diligence, the approval by the Board of Directors of Brightpoint, Inc., and the receipt of all necessary third-party and regulatory approvals and is scheduled to occur within the next 30 days.

All of our customers will continue to receive the same quality service and support during this transition they have grown to expect over the last nine and a half years. We look forward to providing even greater programs and services for our channel partners as a part of Brightpoint, Inc.
